Our mission is to combat animal suffering and help animals in need.
Rescued Souls e. V. is an animal welfare organization that is committed to the welfare of animals at home and abroad. We are still a very young association that is primarily dedicated to animal welfare in Romania.
The conditions in Romania are incomparable, there are so many street dogs that have to fight for survival every day: Hunger, road traffic and ultimately humans - all major dangers for any animal.

Michaela Helfer
Michaela has 2 dogs from animal welfare (Rocky and Malina) and has already gained valuable experience in several animal welfare organizations.

Thomas - our good soul for everything and cash auditor
Thomas supports the association as treasurer and all-rounder. He likes to do repairs on site and lets himself be "peed on and cuddled by everyone (except Cristina, of course) as a reward". He not only has the necessary drive for such excursions, but also a great sense of humor. He has also known Cristina for many years and has already been to the shelter with her and lent a hand.
Patricia - our support with social media and website
Patricia has known Cristina Cristache for over 15 years and has been supporting her via social media and with fundraising for more than 10 years. Patricia especially loves cats and supports us with her writing talent.
Sonja - our good soul for everything and cash auditor
Sonja grew up with cats and dogs, so her love of animals was sparked at an early age. Sonja and her husband adopted their dog Olivia from Cristina's shelter in 2021. It is therefore a matter close to their hearts to help Cristina and her animals. Alex supports Sonja by making the premises of his company available to us as a warehouse for our donations in kind.
Tina - our supervisor for portals and websites
Tina has always loved animals, especially dogs. She has two dogs from animal welfare and supports us with portals and websites.
Mandy - our coordinator
Mandy has been active in animal welfare since 2023. She has an animal welfare dog, Koko, who convinced her to become active. Mandy will help us to coordinate and plan a lot of things.
Lucy - our IT administrator
Lucy has been supporting Cristina for four years and has also been working administratively (FB, Instagram, database of dogs) for almost two years. She will help us with the website and social media.
